EPA Brief Reaffirms Safety of Glyphosate and Interim Decision on Registration
On May 18, 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) filed a brief in Natural Resources Defense Council et al. v. United States Environmental Protection Agency in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reaffirming its interim decision on glyphosate, stating: “[The] EPA reasonably concluded that glyphosate is not likely to be a human carcinogen and poses no human-health risks of concern. The record underlying these conclusions is robust, reflecting more than a decade of analysis and thorough review of the scientific literature.” Read the EPA’s brief here.
